This thread is not getting old , it's educating people properly. I have just purchased a Synergy E5 so it's not about bashing electrics, it's about discussing the differences and enjoyment of flying nitro powered helicopters.
There is a fair amount of interest in them and there abilities.

Re: Are Nitro Heli's now obsolete ?

I am just about 1/2 way threw the build on my new X50 , I will post some pic's of it once I get the servo's I want. I am going to try the savox servo's on this one for the first time, a buddy has them on his swift and it responds incrediably, so I gotta try some.

Re: Are Nitro Heli's now obsolete ?

Hey Dennis , would you have a fbl kit for this to convert to fbl? I could let you have these blue blades if you'd like em, but you do have to run a govenor.
I have three electric buddies just waiting to see the new NX4 in action,I do believe the nitro sales will start to go up.This Rappy is going to rock as well, one set of Savox was for it and the other for the E5 , once I have it flying I have to get 3 more of those servo's and 5 mini's for the NX, tail servo and throttle, super fast nylon geared and 3 metal geared cyclic servo's. Oh and a mini v-bar.
