Hi, I have a Jr 7202 transmitter and the flap switch does not work anymore. Any clues?

Re: Jr radio problem

Does it have to be enabled in the setup menu?
I know in some cases, unless you select the wing type as "flaps", it only acts as a regular channel.

Also, go the the servo display screen and activate the switch and see if you see any output on the screen.

Re: Jr radio problem

JP, the value may be set at zero. Need to add some travel, as they start with a default value of zero.
Hope this helps.

Re: Jr radio problem

Hi guys, I looked in the Monitor(servo display screen)and when I move the switch nothing happens, like if it was dead.
It's the first time such a problem happens to me. Yesterday it was working for 4 or 5 times then nothing. I shooted contacts cleaner in it this morning, I'll see later what it does. There might be oil and dust that got into it, who knows.
Thanks
JP

Re: Jr radio problem

Bad Switch,

Send the radio in and it will be replaced. or you can call and order a new switch and swap it out.

Re: Jr radio problem

Hey Guys, after a few tests and a switch swap with an other transmitter I came to the conclusion that my transmitter flap pot is faulty. Dono how come this happened but its really my problem. The flap screen reacts to the switch movement : norm, mid, land but when I go to monitor screen, nothing when I move the switch. I guess I should send it to Horizon.
