Well I decided to buy an X3 for a practice machine, let me just say that I am very happy with the quality of the kit and ez of building. I bought the basic kit with cnc tail , very nice to see a "manual" in the box!! A couple other high end heli manufacturers couldn't be bothered to include an actual manual.
I decided to also try an Ikon fbl this time as well, will see next week here once my servo's and esc as well as motor arrive. Very excited to try this new heli out. I decided to go 6S right off the bat to have good power to weight ratio, will let you know what I think of it once the parts arrive and are installed.

I have been eyeing this for awhile, something about it just makes me want to click add to cart

I'm curious as to what servos you decided to go with?

Re: Gaui X3

Hello Chuck, I actually cancelled the parts order, second guessing my choices and felt I should reconsider. So the heli is bare with an Ikon only at this time.

Re: Gaui X3

Correct, I will be using KST215 digital servo's on it now. There ordered and I hear good things about them so i'll try them. The motor ESC combo is still up in the air so to speak , crashed my E5 so it'll be fixed first parts already on route.
