My new ride - Aito V2

Just about complete, the Aito V2 from Donuts Models in France. Draganfly brought in a few last spring and I am just getting around to it now.

I plan to try the new Axi 2203/46 in it, with a 2s 480 TP Prolite pack, APC 8x3.8 SF prop. Hopefully I can keep it to around 160 grams (5.5 oz), should fly like a feather at that weight.

I also plan on using it as a platform to leverage some of my own creations from

Chad,

Do you know of anyone else selling these in Canada. I contacted RCToys, and they are not stocking them anymore. I am looking for an indoor plane, but must be able to be built around 6+- ounces. I do not want a Tensor, or a Byp, or a shocky!!

My three top choices now are the Equalizer, any of the Donuts models, or a Sypher. Do you know of anything else handy within Canada?

Thanks in advance,
BB

Unfortunately it seems the North American foamy suppliers are just not paying attention I have looked and looked for something similar to the Aito, and my Evolutions. Anything like them is pretty much restricted to Europe and the cost of getting just one is pretty high.

I am starting to resort to designing and building my own.

There are a lot of plans in this thread, seems many have been resorting to building their own as well.

Hi Russ

Will use a CC 10 to start with, maybe something lighter down the road.

Servos, a couple of GWS pico's and I will be putting one of the new Futaba 3154 micro digitals (same as 3110 but digital) on the ailerons.

Its all flat fuse stuff though, they are not that suitable for indoor pattern because of the fuse flex you get while flying.
