What I do for the ends of the tube is wrap a piece of solid copper wire about 1/8" from the end and solder it. If the components are hot enough the solder will flow to a nice joint. If you use .025 wire with no overlaps and gaps it works good. Just deburr and make it smooth so not to cut the fuel line. It is also cheap and I make them to fit. Same goes for the pickups inside the tank.

I make a short neck of the next size up brass tube and solder it to the end of each brass line in and outside the tank........sand and polish the joint......I then use small pull ties over the fuel line as insurance..........works for me..........

Hey Andrew.... I have never replaced a windshield washer pump... what do you do to have to replace them so often?

I guess I need to start breaking more....

gus

P.S. all in jest.... (seems the times require this sort of clarification ...)

Gus, I dont know, maybe its the Northern cold that does it..

I remember a few years ago we had to do two or three (my truck, my company van and my employee's truck) allmost the same time. I still have one or two kicking around if you want to try one
