Canadian FOam Cutting Service?
Does anyone know any Canadian foam cutting services that can CNC cut tapered wings and the like? Preferably ones somewhere closer to my location? I'm having quite a hard time hunting down even a single one.

What size foam wings are you looking to cut? Are they a straight taper from root to tip? What plane are they for? I might have something for you. PM me if you wish.

I'm looking for places to get foam wings cut for flying wing UAV purposes to be vacuum bagged, not for replacement wing sfor a kit or anything like that. THe whole flying wing itself would be around 1m wingspan and about 75cm from nose to "tail". So the actual chord and span of each half of the wing would be somewhere in between those numbers due to sweep.

I don't know where John has his wings cut but I'm building one of his kits right now and the foam cores are beautifully done. Give him a shout- he's a good guy.

You need a hot bow. There pretty easy to make. Mine has a 2 foot piano wire for the hot wire. Melts right through just about any foam making perfect wings, built it when I was making Gremlin combat planes.
