Spring is almost here !!!

So we've covered what's on the building board but what will you have ready first to fly in the spring??

Will you take out the new $$$ 1/4 scale, the ol' reliable or maybe even a high wing job to get the fingers used to sticks again?

What will you be bringing to the field; or even have ready to bring to the field??

I'm finishing up my Pete N Poke in the next few weeks but I'll probably take ol' reliable; a Sportster Bipe that I'm real comfortable with, for the first few grass runway flights. Fazer and combats I've been flying all winter but back to proper take offs and landings means the right plane . The Pete N Poke (wild plane that it is) will be used shortly thereafter

How about the rest of you? Start fast, slow, middle ..... ?

Bob

I allways start with taking some fun fly planes out. Then the giants come out! This year I will test fly the extra I got off Randy at Christmas, probably 2nd or third time out as soon as the runway is dry.

But before the snow gets going and the weather warms up I take some smaller planes I can hand launch and go fly at the local mine tailings.

It doesnt take long to get back into the swing of things... allthough before I test fly my new ducted fan jet I will get a few flights in with something a bit more familiar!

Cant wait, just weeks away now...!

Ive been flying my lt-40 off of skiis lately, but once the snow melts I will be getting my thumbs back with my super sportster. After I get many flights on that I have a GP Extra 300 .40 I am just finishing up now.

If nony didn't live at "the edge of world",I'd send him a "couple of tons of snow" from my front yard. THEN we'd see if he could cut the grass

First I will get the old trust-worthy Double Trouble out, then the GWS Zero, then do some hovering with the Cobra, then I will go for a flight on the 1/4 Scale Cub.

After lunch I will get the TSK chopper out for a flight, then .....................

I'm ready, but man I have a lot of flight packs to cycle

Finished my own desing profile fun- fly plane.

Must be spring cause I flew it last weekend with only a sweatshirt on.

Guess I have to work on another one before the snow melts.
