Speaking from how much experience you have with them? What exactly are the known factors you see or feel to warrant such a suggestion?

To be an open book I'll share my FBL tech experience.

I've been flying flybar less since 2007, since it was first released. Back when there were 106 settings not described in a clumsy mind boggling software gong show to present day (a caveman could do it)...

In the last two years alone aside from vbar I have assisted in building and tuning and ultimately flying over 60 machines from 450-800 sizes. Systems such as 3G, 3GX, Spartan, Futaba, Skookum, Helicommand, Ikon, Brain, Beast X, Demon and I'm sure kissing the remaining few. I understand how each works, sets up and their limit. I also contributed over 200 hours of time to data testing FBL systems good and bad points on various machines via g sensors, alt and GPS meters, video, fdr etc. I 100% know what I'm dealing with and what to expect from each manufacturers technology within the FBL Realm. This product may not attract you, however you do not see the whole picture and that is certainly fine. But that all said of what you know today (now) what is it that you feel so negative about Mikado or this specific product in general? Please share either your opinion or issues. Thx.

If this was said for only feeling regret of owning a 1500+ tx that isn't doing anything realistically past what this will do I understand rightfully so, guess what? We don't know that much yet either..However bring constructive with an actual reason behind simply saying "going downhill" makes you far more credible, just a suggestion. I never write cheques with my mouth my ass can't cash...

For the record once all info is out if its crap I'll tell ya, if it don't feel good in my hands I'll tell ya that to no worries. I don't make a dime nor get a discount on these kinda things so I could care less. But fact that FBL technology is finally again making moves is what I'm pumped about even if I never own this tx it opens doors which is good for everyone.

I think they really nailed something here. That's a great way to get Vbar users the help they need. If they have this all set up they just need a second radio for someone to teach them to fly.

J/K it looks like they are focusing on new comers to the hobby and people who train others. The idea of a RX that can be totally manipulated by the Tx is a amazing new gadget. Anyone who knows Vbar can walk you right through it. I'm sure all other manufacturers will follow suit.

And every single guy has been a noob including me. Whether it's a plane , Heli whatever having confidence is the ultimate barrier to break in order to progress in your abilities and save your wallet right? It's an expensive hobby to begin with so having fun and actually getting better at it with help of today's technology is something you can not put a price on. Not saying THIS is the answer but doors that open because of it will be.

For anyone that's been on this forum for years like me think back to the announcements first made by Spektrum and 2.4 radios. Those were some of the least information huge bashing threads I can recall here. Where is 2.4 now? EVERYWHERE, what has it done for is as hobbyists? Improved our safety, our skills and our ability to see products associated to elevate the overall experience in a positive way. Done with this for now until more info comes. Hope folks get some flying in this upcoming weekend, cheers!!

Re: NEW Mikado V Control TX/RX System

I gotta love all the "narrow minded" views here...wow it's like walking into a bar fight wondering who threw the first punch! Oh well , to each their own, guess it's easier to crap all over something that is showing potential and leading edge approach... Than to just sit back and see where it goes... I guess someone has to stick their neck out and take a chance, hats off to Mikado ... Time will tell... At this time I certainly who use vbar exclusively am hopeful for good things... My motto " stick to a FBL system that works for you , learn it well" and take it from there....

Peace

Re: NEW Mikado V Control TX/RX System

I have used v-bars in the past and thought there where a fantastic fbl system. The only reason I moved away from them was the cost, add in the fact to unlock the pro features was even more money!

I have since then moved on to the IKON and I really like the cost and features! "BAILOUT"

I am definitely not in the market for a new TX and definitely not ready to move away from my IKONS.

But someday if Mikado hits all the wants in their new system I just might consider going back to them!

Definitely a thread of high interest!

Cheers Keith
