Thanks PS Man.

Wene, I'm using the stock TT Ripper motor with Thunder Power's 10s 3850mah packs. It's got a Solid G gyro on it and the castle creations 85 HV ESC. I've been really impressed with the entire power system, the batteries are barely warm after a 4 min flight, and the motor is running quite cool as well. I don't have any exact numbers for the temps yet.

Cheers,

Colin

I forgot to mention I'm using the SGP Reactor to power the servos. I'm using a 9T pinion on a 111T main gear. I'm honestly not sure of the head speed... I set it to where it sounded happiest I think I could drop down to an 8T pinion - my throttle curve is only at 60% right now, and the head speed sounds like it's around 2000.

Cheers,

Colin

Wow - I'm not sure if it's just the video compression or the way it really is, but man, it seems really quick and responsive! Very nice!

So, big electrics for you after all!

Hi Calvin,

Trust me it is that fast, it changes direction like a humming bird on crack. It is very diffficult to follow with the camera. I found during full power climbouts it shot off the screen and needed zoom out, never had that issue before with the same camera. The power to weight ratio is like nothing I've seen before and it does not bog....ever. Colin says the amount of power is insane and I have to agree.
