Guys and Gals,

For your information:

Imac has posted the RFA requesting "official" regional status for us Canadians, on the IMAC website.

http://www.mini-iac.com/portals/0/rfa/RFA200904-01.pdf

Hopefully, this request will be unanimously accepted by the IMAC BOD, and given the blessing by 2/3 vote of the IMAC membership at the IMAC AGM.

From the IMAC president this morning:

Frank, and Steve, well said!!! Let me reaffirm!! We very much wish to move on here, and get on with making it very clear, that all Canadian Providences are part of their closest US region. We're proud to have you included, and would not want it any other Way! Unfortunately, seems that a very few folks, are trying to speak for all of the providences! After reading all of the emails (from so many of our Imac pilots, that reside in Canda), it is very clear, You wish to continue as imac pilots, flying, and participating in the regional points series.
After hearing such negative comments from a few in Toledo; I now know one thing after reading all of the emails i've received......... IT"S A NEW DAY.... a few guys, and gals are not going to represent(Pirate) the majority without their "Consent".
So here is the Question, we are ready to publicly include all canadian providences into their closest bordering regions. Who will or is going to tell us to please proceed, and not waste our time doing it, enlight of the previous threats to leave imac, and not adhere to imac rules ,concerning the points series. Frankly, if Canada wishes to not do the above, then what would be the reason for the BOD to make sure the whole world knows you are indeed part of the us bordering regions. In other words, why process the request for the logos to be changed, and reflect all providences, if you do not wish to stick arouind, and compete under the existing rules!
Sorry to be so strong here, but it really boils down to this... Let's get this done by wednesady folks...
This BOD, has many projects on deck, this distraction, is not helping us make it a better IMAC for all.
Respectfully:
Don Hamilton JR.
President

Re: Request for Action # 2

After consultation with Steve & Quebec CDs and pilots, we have posted the following.

===

Hi Don,

The CDs and IMAC organizers here in Québec have been consulted over the last few days and we agree in our support of RFA 200904-01 sponsored by Steve Dionne, Bob Hudson and Isabel Deslauriers. No pilots in this province have expressed to us a contrary position, therefore we are confident that we represent their position accurately.

Thank you for your prompt action.

Isabel Deslauriers, Responsable IMAC circuit du Québec.

Re: Request for Action # 2

I also posted the following in the same thread.

Don,

Once the BOD passes the initial vote [which I suspect and hope they will] to include us Canadians in the various regions, please let us know when and where, the IMAC AGM will take place.

As requested in the FRA itself, all of the States / Provinces, can then be "officially" included and written into the IMAC bylaws, with a 2/3 majority vote of the membership.

I look forward to the final conclusion of this issue, so it can be put to rest and all of us IMACers [Canadian and US] can move on.

Re: Request for Action # 2

The first part of this RFA has been passed unnanimously by the IMAC BOD.

The second part to have the boundries clearly defined in the IMAC by-laws, has been rejected.
