Re: E-Revo 1/16 Brushless Questions????
The 1/16 revo is quite the little truck. from my experience it is pretty solid with a few minor weak points. the most significant (must haves) would have to be alloy steering knuckles as they are a common weak point (try to go for GPM, Hot Racing or Golden Horizons as they have an improved design over stock), and stiffer springs w/ heavier oil to help alleviate the bottoming out after jumping (for this I would recommend Black springs in the rear and Tan up front, and for oil usually around a 40wt front and back) this is a popular config and most people seem happy with it.
If you are feeling fancy or just want to reduce allot of the slop from the flexible stock suspension components. And don't mind dropping some cash into your truck I would recommend grabbing aluminum turnbuckles and suspension links. and CVD swing shafts by traxxas. The knuckles and springs are a great start but there really is no limit to what you can upgrade on this truck. |

Re: E-Revo 1/16 Brushless Questions????
plasticx, thanks very much, i have been just bombing around with it, not to much jumping but already noticed that it bottoms out quite easily. I'm going to get the better shocks and go to 40WT oil as well. Ditto for the steering knuckles.
thanks geoff
