Congratulations Brandon

Just think. You and I can compete in next years "Northern IMAC" contest "basic" category. You with Andrews "big Extra"(he is giving you a graduation present, isn't he and I with that "fire breathin', Moki powered, Han.9 Cap 232 ..........

WAY TO GO BRANDON. It sounds like you had a good instructor, who was willing to spend time to teach you right. There are instructors and then there ARE instructors. You lucked out as did I last year when I started to learn. Gary Maker was my instructor, and he spent a lot of time( 4-5 times a week) for five to six weeks teaching me to fly properly and safely

These guys like Andrew and Gary deserve public recognition for their dedication. These guys make it fun,

guys, I dont need any thanks - my reward is seeing another person get into the hobby, love to eat, breathe and sleep model planes. I now have a flying partner that I can grow myself with, trying new things together and hopefully learn as well as teach.

Brandon deserves ALL the credit. He had the will and desire to work all winter building, flying the sim and never refused to go out to the field or a fun fly when I asked him. Never got upset or discouraged when things didnt go 100% the right way, and he is cool under pressure (heck, at all the fun flies he put on many flights in front of a crowd for the 1st year flying, that is impressive).

Now like you say, the fun REALLY starts...

Teaching a guy like him is easy - because he wants to learn and learn everything. Not just flying, but building, maintenance, pitting, engines, etc.
