Re: Vintage WWI wheels

tim, if you have no luck, try this guy. I recently purchased from him and bought a set of William Bros. Vintage wheels. here's the link, it cost me $10.usd for international postage and no duties were paid. here's the link.http://www.radicalrc.com/category/Williams-Bros-298
Good luck finding some.

Al, they are 3.750 dia. with black rubber tyres mounted on linen coloured plastic wheels. with .125 dia axle holes. I know of Top Flite producing a wire wheel set sold by Towers.

Re: Vintage WWI wheels

Mike, thanks for the link, I might just order from there. Can you tell me the width of the hub at the axle? can't seem to find that info anywhere online.

Thanks, Tim

Re: Vintage WWI wheels

yes, the plane I need them for specs a 3.5" wheel so I think they would be too large.

Thanks anyways, can you measure the width for me though?
