Just finished spraying the carmine (Dark red) on the AETE T-33. Just have the black and clear coat left to do. Maybe a little touch up as well. Decals coming from Germany and should be here by the end of the month.
A lot of masking, but the carmine sure looks rich and can't wait to pull all the masking tape off and see the final product. It has been a lot of work to get to this point. Jeff I have some words for you,* !!!!!, but thanks for all the pictures and paint specs. Very helpfull. First time I have used base coat, clear coat automotive paint. Really quite nice to use once you learn the spraying techniques. A lot less smelly and toxic than the polyurethane paint I normally use. Don't need to use a fresh air mask to spray the colour. The clear coat might be a different story. Will do pictures when it is done. |

The amount of work involved with surely be evident in the finished product.........which I'm betting will be absolutely gorgeous!!!
