Altecare have a couple of new, interesting ARF's - The Foxcub and the T-22 ...you can usually seen them in the banner on top of this forum....

The Boomerang is ONLY sold direct by Alan Cardish. His sister in Texas ( I believe ) covers the North American market. Many Canadian modelers have purchased the Boomerang from her with no problems. Great people to deal with too, by all accounts.

Cheers

Boomer

They may be good people to deal with but the problem that I faced when I went to purchas one was the shipping. I think it was more than $400.00. I thought that a little much considering the Scorpion I bought from Pete cost next to nothing for shipping.

They are nice people and the product is great. They returned my calls very promptly but the shipping is nuts.

Boomer Shipping

Hi Cliff

We brought in a Boomerang XL for one of our customers and shipping to our US warehouse was US$180. Patricia only ships them via Bax Global(?) as freight and not as a courier item. She's had problems with the others. Shipping from here to Victoria's probably about C$100 give or take, making the total about C$315. The $400 probably includes brokerage fees.

Cliff,
Have it sent to Ship Happens in Sumas Washington, then just pick it up, or let me know and I can pick it up, it'll cost you next to nothing if it's shipped within the US rather than coming to Canada, when you bring it across just be straight with them and pay the taxes (which you'd have to pay anyway). It will save you a HUGE amount in shipping and you won't pay any broker fee's. It's a bonus us guys close to the border have If you want to order one and have it shipped into Washington I don't have a problem picking it up for you and you can get it whenever you come over to the mainland.
