Actually the real problem is that;

We have a LEGAL SYSTEM, not a JUSTICE SYSTEM.

... BIG Difference.

There is something wrong here. I am no lawyer, but that is tons of evidence. I plan on pursuing this. I am going to try and talk to someone higher up in the police department. If that doesn’t work, I may go to the newspapers about this. I personally think that this is pretty pathetic.
Did you make a claim for the car damages (hit & run?) to your insurer? I'm sure they would like to do a follow-up to get their money back from him...

Probably something about violating his rights because you didn't get his permission to film him
I don't think that was it. Apparently video recording in a store is ok, as long as there’s a sign posting that. We have signs all over the place.

All the best on this, Tom. Your margin is thin enough without people skimming it like this. This guy needs to get what he deserves.

Re: Warning to Toronto Area Hobby Shops!!!!!!

Tom,
The problem is that people still perseive us grown-ups are playing with toys and there for we are not taken seriously! There are many stories about people being ripped off on the internet selling related to R/C and the judicial system just turns away. If your store was electronics, cars or other things like this I asure you the police would of acted more favorably.

It was meant "tongue in cheek" Tom. It seems that there are more rights for the accused than the victims.

He is in jail now so all that you will do by going public is to make it harder for the Crown to give him an impartial trial (by their definition of impartial) for things he is already charged with. This may not be fair, but his defence lawyer will certainly thank you for giving him another tool for his defence.
