hi, I have the kintec, miss geico offset rudder item, is ok for the rudder pushrod to go under the rudder bracket instead of going over the stock setup?? I seem to get more right rudder though, and my servo and trim is centred.

Re: miss geico boat

The new bracket is designed to let the rod underneath.
Did you read the install link I gave you?

Re: miss geico boat

There is a note in the manual to center both trims before turning on the radio, I don't know if that would have anything to do with it or not.
To center a rudder I usually turn on the radio to make sure the servo is centered then adjust the pushrod so the rudder is straight with no trim. If the servo horn isn't centered you can take it off and adjust it.
I'm not familiar with the Proboat radio but I don't think the stock one has EPA (End Point Adjustment) that can limit how far the servo moves in each direction.

Have you tried removing the servo horn and putting it back on as close to center as possible?

Re: miss geico boat

If it's only off by a single tooth, it'll be fine. Just adjust the linkage so that the rudder blade is straight once the servo is back in.
