I'll check the date next time I head down to my shop, but from everything I've heard and read it's the newer ones that are having the problems....The older ones seem to be really good.

To me that's what is so frustrating with the way Hitec is dealing with this (or NOT). They should have just admitted the problem early on and did a TOTAL product recall...We would have all been impressed with their customer service and we'd be even more loyal...

Instead, I'm done with their products.

Look at DA....it's not like they haven't had some issues over the years (170, 50) but their overall customer support is so good, plus many of their engines are awesome that they get loyalty...I love my 120.

I just sold my one 7950 and 3 7955s that were new. The 7950 gave me no trouble on Li ion through a sport reg with a Hitec A9 and optima rx.
Due in no small part to the current reports, I switched to JR servos for the next one though. The 8711HV doesnt seem as fast as the 7955s though.
Jim, I may have some swb arms I'd be willing to swap for JR ones.

And Trevor the Air tractor is really coming along. Very unique.

Are you reffering to the lack of flight time, lately? The 7955s in my Carden yak had about 50 flights on them before the airframes demise and even came out unscathed from the midair save for one broken mounting lug on one servo so what can you zing me on?

All my 7955s are from 08 with no shakes or gear train slop.

Jason I only have Secraft arms for Futaba/Savox servos, nothing for JR except 3.5" offset double arm for rudder control and possibly a 4" straight double as well.
