im just runnig the K4.6 and the s-25 and a hyper .21 8 port, with 3 speeds the savages are a real hoot...
one thing you have to remember is, it's not the fastest truck that finishs the race... Its more driver, plus handeling, the faster the truck the more out of controle it will be.

Also, big engine does not equal big performance... it's all power to weight ratio , like even if a .32 size has crazy power, it's not gonna do ---- in an FG or something like that
I'm very impressed with the GS R25MT engine, it's mad power and very reliable. Also, the .21 RG has got to be the most reliable engine E V E R... I've never touched the tuning sinse after break-in, and it's powered through 3 races without a single flame-out EVER. It's more then enough power for me right now. Also, the Tamiya .18 (a.k.a. OS CVR) is also very reliable and has okay power, it's the perfect engine for the TNX for all purposes (although I haven t been able to run it for months... STUPID TAMIYA takes years to get parts in...)

Rossi Ral Micron M21 in my S3.. great little engine for the money.. has boat loads of power for it's cost.. and runs extremely well. I can remeber 6 times that it stalled in 6.5 gallons. and only once in a race (my fault)
Picco 26 in my savage (soon to be something new and different)
