carb clearences

can someone give me advice on how mutch area is needed for carb intake to fire wall. have the satio 300 twin and the motor box comes about 1/4 inch away.is this enough room or should I cut back box? is on rc guy ag wagon

Sorry total brain fart my my first post. Was thinking muffler.
Just cut hole in fire wall about double the carb intake port size.

I don’t understand……… now is this an air intake or an engine muffler to firewall issue?

I really don’t see a problem drilling a small hole (1/2 inch or so) if you’re worried about it! I have done this before with no issues………………

thanks for the info as this is my first build project and new to sport still have to get off budy box trainer maiden a cub I recoverd and finish build of this ag wagon
