Man I take too much stuff but here's what I usually take to a race.

Folding canopy for rain and sun
Folding pit table and chair
Plastic milk crate with Jersey Modeler fuel container and various spray cans (Nitro cleaner, WD40, Corrosion-X, canned air)
Homemade battery box with Optimus 12v deep cycle battery and power panel for starter, fuel pump, and electric chargers
Toolbox is a Plano 758
RC Cat lipo glow driver
Sullivan starter motor with Speedmaster handle
Homemade prop box
Big bag of spare parts and fasteners in Plano boxes
Homemade charging station in Rubbermaid toolbox and ammo container for lipo's (if racing electrics)
Paper towels and a garbage bag
Radio's and boats
Fishing reel with tennis ball for retrieval
and most important rubber boots

we found out that it's cheeper to build your boats stands with wood over
pvc piping.

I will always need something I don't have so the list is always growing....

- Sunshade / Rain canopy
- Two tables
- Chair/s
- Power cord/s (long)
- 12V Battery (deep cycle)
- Battery charger
- Toolbox/s
- glue, oil, grease, duct tape (you never know, lol)
- Stainless and/or brass screws, bolts, nuts, washers, lock washers
- Paper towels or lots of rags
- Hip waders and normal boots
- Slide-in truck camper
- Food and drinks
- Rain gear
- Assortment of spare parts
- Pen and paper (write new info down since I know I'll forget it fast)
- Flashlight
etc etc etc

and all this for one boat!

I sail RC sail boats a lot. I have a 4 drawer fishing tackle kit that I take everywhere. It has a compartment in the top that nicely holds my radio and a few other things (tape measure, neck strap, etc.) and then all the screws, line, fittings and tools that it would take to do repairs at the lake.

But it is also my primary storage for all those things as well so I work out of it at home as well. That way I only have one stash of all these things so that when I head to a regatta I just take that kit with me and I am pretty sure I have what I need to survive a weekend.

For racing sailboats I take a bunch of things:
- spare deck patches
- extra battery, Lipo sack
- charger, etc (if multi day race)
- precision screwdriver set
- ruler and notes for adjustments
- Gorilla tape. (Not needed yet, thank goodness)
- Spare string, thin CA (for setting knots.)
- sponge or car shammy for drying out inside of boat, if needed.
- Silica gel packs for drying inside boat
- Spare sails in sail box
- Lots of water, snacks, camera.

I don't usually bring much, but here's what I do have.
Wrenches for collets (just in case)
Allen keys
Spare tx batts
Driveshaft lube
Transmitter (forgotten that before )
Electrical and the all important duct tape.

Bringing stuff to the pond can be simple to outragous.

Parts for one boat is easy to manage, yet when you have a multitude of boats running different power plants it can become a big job remembering where the parts are in all of your stuff.

I use a lot of plano 3700 totes in all sizes.
Carried in plano tote bag and large duffle bag.

I due the same for all of the rc types plane, heli, car and boat parts in different bags/tool boxes for ease of transport.

I general tool box and speciality tools in respective bags. if avalable ( allan keys screwdrivers and plyers etc.)

pushrods and seals.
props
cables
brass etc.
cold drinks

When you carry alot to the pond you could become a pond shop and sell parts on site , for those who travel light.
