What fan unit for E-flite F-16?

Hey guys.

I won the Eflite F-16 at Wingham Jets this weekend. Wondering what Fan unit and motor combo to do? It's a 65mm. Not sure on 3 or 4 cell, but looking for all out speed!!!

Thanks Steven

WTG Steven. You can get a DS26 fan, but not cheap, 200+ USD. Wemotec make a 66mm fan that will work too, at about $50 US.

Re: What fan unit for E-flite F-16?

Thanks buffy. $200 is a little high for a small foamy.

More info to add

I want to go 4 cell for speed. I was thinking of going 70mm, but the intake area won't allow for it so 65mm it is. The plane will weigh less than 30 oz. I was looking at the Vasa 65mm, but don't really know what is out there and am having a hard time finding it. I have been to www.ductedfans.com. it is a good site, but what are some other sites. Thanks.

I know I'm the new guy but for 64mm fans donsrc.com has really hot wind motors the 4800kv on his 5blade alfa clone will put you over the 100mph mark.

www.donsrc.com he has lots of data there for different combos...the 64 should be a drop in fit.
