Hahaha your eyes are sharp Andrew. Right now she just picks up the tube and takes off the lid and it oozes out

Well she likes the sim and does them on there. As Mark Too says bigger flies better and if you look around in some of the pictures I have no shortage of helis once I think she is ready on the sim. Maybe she won't want to fly them just fly on the sim. None of her older brother or sisters showed any interest at all in learning to fly.

Ha, if you only knew how many kids I have showed how to build with those kits, and about 100 tubes of sigment over the years

Most either sqeeze WAY too much out (you use the glue sparingly to get a fast drying, good strong bond) or crack the aluminum tubes well before they are empty.

I grew up building with Ambroid and Sigment... many tubes of that stuff before I could afford CA...

Man those pics take me back - and I am only 39!

Re: This is Really what it is all About

One more thing... when she gets to the kits that require tissue covering - the best method IMO is a glue stick, apply the adhesive (UHU or similar) stick around the perimeter of the part to be covered, place your tissue on and rub down the edges working the wrinkles out. Let the glue dry.

Then you can dope, or spray a light coat of clear over it. Or, just leave it plain if you dont get it wet.
