For sale, Durafly F4U Corsair. Wingpsan 1100mm/43"

Comes pnp with electric retracts, flaps & lights.

I upgraded the motor to a C3536 1000kV motor running an APC 11x7 prop. 34A static and 400 watts approx.

I have replaced one of the retracts; I damaged the previous one landing on rough ground at our field in March. I have a spare for the other side and it is included in the sale (since they are sold in pairs.) Only flown 6 times.

You were flying this at the Toronto field? I guess the grass was a little rough on the retracts?

This is a really nice flying model. Amazing quality like the rest of the FMS products. The best ground handling is on a fresh cut field without the bloody carpet of yellow.

The new owner will be very lucky to have this model. Good luck.

I was flying it a TEMAC before the grass-cutting had started, and before we'd rolled the field.

It flew fine today!

Just to be clear for anyone reading this, the plane for sale is the HobbyKing Durafly brand, not FMS (although I have heard rumours that they are made at the same factory.) Don't want anyone to think this is the larger FMS plane.

It is 1100mm wingspan.
