Congrats Manny.
Fall, so many airframes get done, to be shelved for the winter. Lethbridge can be nice, compared to Camrose.

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

Those Yak's look to be a lot of fun. I thought I might assemble one I have 2 options to power it with, single or twin. But there looks like there will be lots around the Pro R/C field next year.
I'm going to focus on a newer Grande Caravan once home. So trying to not get to wound up on toy airplanes. Well to buy anyways. Then comes along another great used one, ha-ha.

Jack, you did the Extra 330LT, good. I expected it. Now to see what slides in under the hood.

I think you got wound up enough on toy airplanes this summer lol. Four 40%ers.

There is a certain corvus racer I can't wait to get my hands on

I expect BansheeBoy will wait until after Christmas until he gets rolling again. Might be a strong building season for young Michael. That Big Bill Hemple sure looks good on him.
Hope we all get out a lot in the spring.

You will definitely have a lighter plane, always a bonus. Hope the Evo works well for you. The ones I have seen running have not been as impressive as I thought they'd be. Perhaps GP has pulled up their socks with the 176 as well.

Can't imagine wanting anything different than the 3 blade setup I watched in your video...but hey...guess you think you're moving on!!!!
Very cool Jack!!! 2 great options there for you!!

Ya - the 176evo is really just a test. If I don't try a twin, I'll always wonder how it would have felt, so something I need to try, LOL. It shouldn't take more than an evening to do the swap and adjust CG so pretty simple. I agree with you - going to take an aweful impressive set-up to wow me over the 190 on the 3-blade.

I also agree about the 176 - a great running motor and smooth but doesn't hold a candle to the ZDZ180, at least on RE3's. But I've already had 2 of the 180's and wanted to try something different and Dave Sullivan has some pretty crazy results of the 176evo on SmoothPipes. If I see similar to his results, it should be right up with the 180. The bonus over the 180 is the customer support/service.

That will be an easy assembly this winter. ZDZ 90 RV-J, RE3 hanging in the garage.
