What fun is that? The extra 5oz?? If it's that - ya, we all had a good laugh here also. Kinda ticks me off that they'd add weight. Not sure if it would have changed my decision to buy it, but the Rv-J was such a sweet running motor - why mess with a good thing, LOL.

Not sure about flagship... the ZDZ, GP and Brick are all sweetheart motors.

Flagship, your new build that this will haul.

As the years pass. You may gain an appreciation of our (Old guy) view. On things that get labelled "Hype", or Bling.
Why did it get heavier? The obvious (at this point) Bling. So to gain the edge in marketing. Trade weight for bling. Run the damn thing and prove it's worth.
So now my old ZDZ falls in the same category as Zenoah's. Old school.

Carry on my friend. you do great work.
I opted to not subscribe to your build thread as I expect it to get real busy.

LOL! It's not the bling that added weight.. they beefed up the crank and case. Just so happens they tried to disguise it with bling LOL.

Wish I could have got a 180 like yours... nothing old school about it

My thinking.

Good morning Jack.
