Has the Sig 1/4 Scale Cub always come with a 2 pc. wing as an option or standard ? This question is for both the full and clipped wing version.

Thanks

As far as I know, it was the builders option to build it as a one piece or two piece wing.....

The Sig Cub is usually built as an offset 2 piece wing. I much perfer the setup of the Balsa USA Cub which is a 2 piece wing but bolts to the side of the fuse cabin top rather than plugging together and sitting on top of the cabin like the Sig Cub. Its ok but the Balsa USA is my preference.

Re: Sig Cubs

Thanks for your input. Interesting regarding the Balsa USA.
I have since found out that the Sig J3 has always been a 2 pc and the Sig Clipped Wing has always been a 1 pc.

Thanks Again

Graham

I have seen one piece Sig full span cubs and 2 piece Sig clipped wing cubs....so that may not be an absolute...

Sig Cub

I am sure you could be correct Nony, the builders may have a choice. I got this info from emailing Sig. Maybe as I may do, they buy the full wing to get the 2 pc (for transport) then clip the wings.
