Got the back of the YAK all finished, including the bevel!

Just a light finishing sand to blend in the light spackle on the joints and the tail is done

The hinges aren't glued in yet. I'll do that after it's all covered!

Jim --> Now that the rudder has tons of throw, you can start working on your FreeStyle Routine

Last up for the night was to draw out the ailerons, cut them out and ProBond on the LE and TE. Tomorrow I'll cut the bevel and hinge the wings so I can put on the wing tip blocks!

Jim Daly picked up the set at the Desert Aircraft`s Booth in Toledo last year. They are not posted on DA's website, but it seems that they sell them at Toledo each year.

I`m picking up a set this year when I go down ($25 US for the set of 4 posts and plastic nuts)... let me know if you want me to bring back a set for you!

Cheers

Trev

Yep... I'm off Amidair shortly for the afternoon, but don't worry Jim!... ailerons got beveled, root edge covered and hinges permanently glued in, so it's been a productive morning

Here's a few pictures of progress.
