You are absolutely right. I forgot about that part lol. So add $25 for the Anylink and being a DX6 i believe you can connect the power source directly into the DX6, you don't need a battery for it.

I won't try and complicate it but i did recommend it simply for your smaller space and ease of learning curve with it Always buy what you want, my suggestion is only for small space and a really fun quad that fly's like a heli and so damned easy to fly

I don't make a habit of suggesting things to anyone. Always up to you what you want in this hobby.

Re: Newbie trying to fly mCPX v2

BTW could you help me with local part stores?

The original owner of my mCPX provided me with some spares but slowly I'm running out of them - Blades and landing gear are the top priority at the moment.
Rotor links tend to bend for some reason so I'll need them too.

I've been to Hobby Hobby and know Great Hobbies isn't far away, any other local shops you could recommend?

There are plenty of other shops but you're looking at quite a drive. I used to shop at AJ Hobbies for some of my stuff but if i remember they are quite a ways away from us in mississauga.

Hobby Hobby and Great Hobbies are your choices as far as i know for mississauga aside from Galaxy on Mavis. I do highly recommend Rotorquest if they carry the parts for you. Good guys there, good prices.

Thanks.

Looks like HobbyHobby has everything I need for now - including even rare Fast-flight blades, and their prices are quite OK.

Re: Newbie trying to fly mCPX v2

Last two days I've been experiencing intermittent vibration, entire heli went shaking like rotor is unbalanced.

Today I installed new blades, broke one canopy mount and landing skid.

Decided to clean resistor strips inside this servo to fight vibration issue.

While removing all-in-one module I torn away one of the wires from rear servo connector. I was able to solder it back, gathered everything back again and got the following issue - forward-reverse stick got inverted! Left/right stayed correct.

What could I possibly do wrong? All 3 servos move, yet I am not able to take off as 3-axis gyro seems to be applying incorrect signal as well.

loads of programming info on helifreak

the main thing I don't like about my dx6i is the lack of flap/gyro knob, you have to enter programming mode to adjust the gyro, otherwise it works fine

Like what?

Servo links and rotor links are fine.
