Re: Hobbyking's new "DHL Express" shipping option

I'm planning on bringing 5 battery packs charged with me to the track to share with my son to get us started. My TDI jetta has a 140 amp alternator stock, it powers a 90 amp electric auxiliary hearer in the winter as the diesel runs cold in the Canadian winters. I'm hoping it will provide enough umph at idle to provide the amps I need to charge a set or 2 of batteries. It consumes 0.3L/h at idle.

That's the plan at least.

Re: Hobbyking's new "DHL Express" shipping option

I ordered life batteries on may 29th and they still are not arrived yet. I guess they are lost somewhere. What do we do in that case, its been two months now.
Do they send a reorder in that case.

you'd have to get ahold of them, that should be more than sufficient time for them to not give you any run around, they'll probably refund the whole payment and you can just re order yourself or if you still want the same order, they will probably just re-ship it

Re: Hobbyking's new "DHL Express" shipping option

Here is something interesting. I placed an order last week from the US/Canada warehouse. I chose the Purolator option. Got a notification that it shipped on July 22nd. Look at the Purolator tracking image attached. 'Picked up by Purolator' on July 22nd in Vancouver. Do they have a warehouse in Canada?

not that I know of, as far as I know it comes from the US warehouse.

Re: Hobbyking's new "DHL Express" shipping option

the HKUSA Warehouse is right near the border just outside Metro Vancouver, so I've been led to believe Also read somewhere it was closer to Seattle, but this is still close to Vancouver

Re: Hobbyking's new "DHL Express" shipping option

The warehouse is in Tacoma near the Seatac airport. Been there for more than a few pickups. I have no knowledge but believe they ship across the border with Purolator probably on a palette and then things get distributed from Vancouver. Purolator is owned by Canada Post so I am sure there is lots of "space" available in a Canadian warehouse..
