My Dad and I will be there.

I just started the F-16 I won last year. I can't wait to see how it will perform.

See you guys soon.

This year starts out with a bang! A one month road trip to four jet rallies in a row, from mid June to mid July:

Plum Island Jet Rally
Jets Over the Heartland (Winamac)
Jets Over Kentucky
Capitol Jets

We'll also be going to:

Liberty Bell Jet Rally
New England Jet Rally
Maine Jet Rally

And maybe Hamburg Jet Rally in Oct.

I'll be showing off all the AltecareRC goodies all summer!

Re: Wingham Jets Role call 2011

Hi Angus and all,
I'm having a hart time deciding between Chatham and Wingham so I'd have to say Pencil me in for now.
Quick Question... If I do go I'll be coming from Michigan with an RV. I'd be coming on the afternoon of the Thursday leaving Sunday Afternoon. If I remember talking with people last year at Leanington you also have RV Dry Parking at the airport there? What about Kerosine/JetA available?
If able to come I'll have the Boomer Sprint as well as a new Jet to maiden.

Thanks in advance
George Harris

Hi George, you will love Wingham 75ft by 4000ft fly at mid point. Camping is availble at the airport, you can pretty well camp just behind the pits. a small amount(500 litres) of Jet A is available for 85 cents Litre, it is expired full scale fuel, I use it with no issues. or 9.46 litre jugs for $20cdn (I think that is about $30us)

Actually you will love Chatam too so you need to do both

I hear you Angus, but what can I do. The scheduling kinda sucks this year.

As they say, there's always next year!

Thanks Angus, I'd really love to get to both Wingham and Chatham this year but my ability to take time off work right now is a bit limited along with Family Commitments. Right now I'm still trying to decide which to go to (If I need to make a choice)
I made it to Leamington last year where I flew my big Orange and Black ShockJet and had a blast. I had my Boomer Sprint but had issues with first steering then engine so I didn't have a chance there to maiden it.
This year I have a new Jet I'm finishing off and hope to maiden it at one of these events. Got the plane from Peter A and looking forward to flying it as I have seen only video of these flying and none in person!
Anyhow, any problems with arriving there on the afternoon of the Thursday or would it be perferred Friday late morning/Early Afternoon?

George

P.S. I think your math is off a little... $20 CDN is closer to $50US

No problem showing up Thursday afternoon, I will probably be there.

I will hold as many jugs of kero as you want at $50us

Re: Wingham Jets Role call 2011

Was looking iffy for me Angus, but things are looking better. Will make the decision soon... My wonderful wife wants me to go even though its a 9 hour drive, and she would be alone with the baby (who is currently not sleeping well) for 4 days.

There is a good chance i will make it. I am bummed Jim and Anne cant make it though, and Paul, Ted, etc have other commitments... Oh well maybe ill have an even better chance at the poker run for win #3???
