Well its been 2 weeks since the brick testing!!! Those wondering engine thoughts are about a week overdue!!!!
Probably the "think heavy" drugs the boys in the Cartel boys slipped in your dinner/beer last week are starting to wear off! LOL

Re: 126" Carden Extra260 / MVVS190 - BBT

Oh boy!! Scott and John - there's fuel for the fire, LOL!!!!!

Strangely enough (A few of the E.M. can vouch for this), I seriously contemplated putting a DA200 in the VW Edge late last year since I love the quads!! Problem is, I'm not a big fan of the DA200.

Then Jack's Mintor220 got running again in his big Carden
.
.
Then this MVVS190 comes out which was second lightest in the quad department
.
.
And I was hook, line and sinker for another big Carden with a quad, LOL

Gonna stick with the MVVS190 for at least a season to get some quality time on it and we'll see how I feel for year 2

Hey Trev. .
Could you elaborate why you're not fond of the DA 200? Sorry if it's been discussed already, I've been away for a while.. Just curious.

Super smooth, lightest of the quads!! Mediocre power compared to the competition. Crank issues with them that DA has been dragging their heals on for over 2 years (every 2 months I'd call them and "only 6 more weeks", LOL).

So given the above, I could never justify the $$ of the DA200 since some of the twins could do circles around them with a much lighter overall package.

It was really down to the Mintor220 or MVVS190. I've had the Mintor (incredible motor) and decided to give the MVVS190 a try

Re: 126" Carden Extra260 / MVVS190 - BBT

Also got the CF phenolics glued in with Ultimate glue.

The 126" Cardens and 124" PRO's had a nice 1/8" lite-ply end plate to help distribute the loads. A really nice feature
