Hey what a Fantastic day for Winter Flying in Ottawa! -6 and nothing but sunshine! No wind to speak of. Winterlude is going strong 2nd weekend and we saw about 6 hot air balloon's go flying slowly by the field.

My buddy Tom Hastie is getting his E-Orville dialed in with som Exbo on the servo's and it was so wonderful to watch a Mistro fly so smoothly - Rolling circles - Blenders - you name it Tom has a blast!

Tom is flying a plane I designed called the Orville! Its just simply a ball to fly both slimer .25 or the E-version.

PS: Check the short kit out at http://www.welasercut.com

I can't wait to fire her up again next week at the Stetson Flyers Winter Fun/fly! Hmmmm! fun/fly Chillllliiiii! LOL

My father and I just got back to my place from flying. Had a great time. Winter flying is a lot of fun. Can't wait for the next beautifull day to head out.

The wife and I just got home from being at the field. Had some fun trying to start the 70fs but managed without any heat or fluids, had a great flight and then did about 15 touch and goes and then refueled. The next flight was alot shorter went inverted for a little bit and then the engine went sour so rolled back and then it died, brought the plane around for a dead stick landing and well it floated past and manage to get it down with about 20 to 30 feet to the edge of the runway and went into the weeds. So I ended up with a busted prop.

After some engine agravations, I got my Feb flight in today. (We try to get at least one flight in a month). Just a small .15 sized plane but loads of fun. Though I still prefer nicer weather, it's great to be outdoors

+3C here in Blind Bay and just came back from flying a TM400 for a few minutes. The 3 inches of snow on the runway was crisp so wheels were OK.

Cold and breezy today. I might get out tomorrow depending on the weather. The road into the field is probably slippery so I'm not going to risk getting stuck. It really should have been paved when the Town of Milton renovated Drumquin Park. It's just a dirt road with huge pot holes.

We had a nice day in Chilliwack as well. Couple new guy's, and it finally is starting to dry up from the monsoon. I crashed my only flying plane, so I'm pulling an all nighter to get me KK up and going for tommorow. (glue and paint are drying atm)
