Morganfuels I must say seems to disclose even more. I still can't see wildcats blend mixture for castor and synthethic.

By all means if you prefer buy Morgan no one is twisting your arm. If you have had good luck with Morgan that is great no one is trying to convince you otherwise. From my personal experience I switched to Wildcat some 10 years ago after calling Morgan and asking the content and type of oil used. At that time I was told it was a proprietary secret. Wildcat on the other hand back then was not only completely open about their fuel but used Klotz oils which I am very familiar with after using that oil in most of my racing applications from karts, dirt bikes and outboards. On that I decided to go with Wildcat and have not looked back since. I know many use all the other brands and they work just fine. If there was only one fuel that was the absolutely best then there would be little call for others. Traveling in the US I see very very little Morgan fuel if any in the southern states. Wildcat on the other hand seems to be all over and easy to come by. That way when I travel I have fuel consistency and know the quality I buy. Personal preference that is the most determining factor. I think everyone buys the fuel that is most convenient (local hobby shop stock) I gave Wildcat as an alternative and a source for those who might not have that easy access and who might like to try a club buy for some savings.

I know you arn't trying to convince me otherwise. It still just seems fuel choice is what you had the best luck with over the years. Or based on others experience. Just no real hard facts. I have guys say don't put a drop of caster in the ys or you will have regulator problems. I just don't see any fuel bottles marked with a 100% synthetic rating, I have no bias to omega, just they dislose they use a varnish free castor and what there syn to castor mix is. , and wildcat doesn't say if they are 100% syn. or a mix. Just very confusing. I am sure if I use a well advertised brand I will be fine.

If you use the castor blend with your YS and you start having problems you will have to replace all gaskets and internal parts in the fuel regulator good luck.

Let us know how it turns out OK. It would be interesting if they have changed the composition to allow the use of castor.

These guys are the ones who do all warrantee work on YS engines give them a call and ask before mucking up that nice motor. Ask them about Wildcat YS 20 20 fuel as well. Talk to them about the fuel and its content you are going to use. To little oil might affect your warrantee.
