What happened to Matt Francis ?

I remember this guy winning lots of races for Losi. His red XXX-T was amazing. Anyone know what happened to him?

Also I wish Brian Kinwald would make a return to 1/8 buggy. I know he's always been into electric with X-factory but it would be cool to see him do 1/8 buggy again.

Matt Francis retired a few years back. He did a cameo at the Reedy Race a couple years ago as a 1 time deal but he has a normal job/life now from what I've read. I believe he is selling real estate in Southern California, or somehwere on the west coast.

I spoke with Kinwald a week ago and asked him what the deal is with him and 1/8, he said he loves it and plans on racing it more this year. i still thing 1/10 scale is his bread and butter so we will see.

What happened to Matt Francis?

I raced and spoke with him like two weeks ago and at that time he was full X-Factory. It looked like he was pretty much running the team so...?
