hobbywing quattro 4in1esc wiring to multiwii board??
I have this hobbywing 4in 1 esc that I am trying to put in my quadcopter but lack of instruction is holding me back. first of all the instuctions included only explain how to calibrate the escs so I have done this and with the use of the throttle calibration hub all went well and all motors work perfectly and in sync.now my question, I am using a multiwii crius lite board and I have no idea how to wire this up to the board and receiver. can anyone who knows about this please send me a pic or description on how to wire this all together? I have searched the web tirelessly and all I can find are useless calibration instructions please help

Re: hobbywing quattro 4in1esc wiring to multiwii board??
I think you might need to give a little more information about what you know and what you've done already. A few pics might be enough if you include the FC, the ESC, and the Receiver you're planning to use. Lay them out and maybe someone can draw lines to connect the dots.
Note: That ESC has the following wires: Main Power: Red/Black wires (maybe with Deans already soldered) Motor wires (ABC): 4 sets of 3 black wires (maybe with bullets) Signal wires (S1,S2,S3,S4): 4 servo leads (one has 3 wires, three have 1 wire) The main power goes directly to the battery The motor wires simply go to the motors. The signal wires go to the respective motor signal pins on the flight controller. One of these has 3 wires in the servo lead. The extra wires provide power to the board. (It doesn't matter which one provides the power, but it should only be one) The ESC manual isn't going to tell you how to connect it to your personal setup.. you probably need to follow some build threads with instructions for wiring the FC.. The process is the same whether you're using 4 separate ESCs or a single 4-in-1 ESC. |

Re: hobbywing quattro 4in1esc wiring to multiwii board??
thank you twistedge what threw me off was that red white black servo lead. makes sense now, that powers the board as you said. I tried it today but pitch is roll and roll is pitch. I will get it but thanks again!!
