I don't think so but they are removable.

Probably does some wicked manouvers, but it looks a little funny

Bet it does some excellent knife edge manouvers, those "fins" would act like the struts on a biplane to aid in the sideways lift.

there was a foamy version like that in the E-ToC this year. When I rip some video from it I'll post them on my website and provide the links.
