Re: HK Nitro Heli..... .50 size!!

It was just a matter of time. It is also a matter time when the "pros" & "cons" emerge!

Looks like a good entry level alternative for the beginner, though. But, for 3D, might be a little weak!?

Time will tell...

Re: HK Nitro Heli..... .50 size!!

This heli is the TZ 50 V2. Check it out at the manufacturer's site www.jsmodel.com where you can also download the manual.
The September 2009 edition of Model Helicopter World contains a review of this model. For anyone who has built a JR Vibe 50..well you might notice some similarities.

Jump aboard if you got a death wish that's all I can say! HK sure sells some cheap arsed lipos, but have any of you played with any of their helis? CRAP imo, making a heli larger then 450 for these guys is suicide unless they really change their QC program in a BIG way, you guys experiment and wear some hockey equipment on first few runs ok.

Re: HK Nitro Heli..... .50 size!!

Shawn... this heli isn't made by HC, it's made by a diff. company so i guess it would be their QC we'd have to be worried about.... it looks like this heli has been out for a little while now, it just an other alternative that's all.
