You are right of course Gary, I just get tired of hearing people reiterate how fences are useless.
Fact is, even the best pilot could lose control, even on the ground.
The usual flight-station fence at our field is supplemented by a 12' high fishing-net fence behind the pilot stations, and at each end of the pits.
I know, I know, some dim-wit could find a way to fly around or over the fence, but it sure reduces the likelihood of such an occurence!

Glad it's so funny to you, and a big thank you for generalizing jet pilots like that. Try going to a jet rally sometime and watch, you make it sound as though jet pilots are all idiots, how many jet pilots have you actually watched fly their airplanes? I could make a pretty broad statement like that as well about almost any side of the hobby, but that's not fair either. Heck, I used to live in Alberta myself, I could make some pretty broad unfair statements about albertans if I really wanted to
