I guess im new...
I have been interested in Gas RCs for some time now. I just never got into it.
On Sunday Nov 7th I went to the Hobby Show at the international centre. I had a blast. So...
I went out an purchased myself a use(very) Traxxas Stampede 2wd Truck. Yeah i know wtf... but it was cheap, i dont know much about rcs and if i break, bang it, step on it or all around trash it I wont mind too much.

Thanks to the guy I was talking to at the RC show, at your booth, I am in love with and want the Savage RTR .25. In time! and probably piece by piece.

Anyways, I am looking for advice, places to run the truck, replacement parts and just people to rc with! Hope to be a part!

Tom

Hobby Home is at Yonge and Steeles...
They carry a crap load of r/c parts.

Pinnacle is Markham Road and 16th

AJ hobbies is on markham road south of 16..not sure exactly where though.

Zoom Room in Newmarket

As for tracks..well we like to use the BMX track at Bayview (west side) north of Finch behind the community center

There is Stouville and Bayview..but no one's been there in a while.

Not sure if its still going but there is project x in mount albert..(will have to follow up on that over the winter months)

Then we have Hillsburgh which is a bit of a drive for you but well worth the trip..(see the club link under clubs) and
the barrie bashers which meet all over..

the bmx on Bayview is going to have a meet this saturday..there is a thread somewhere in here about it.

You know the bayview extentions that goes north from Stouville..
there is a overpass about 1/2kms north of stouville road on bayview..
under it is an old bmx/dirtbike track..its an awesome little area...
I haven't been there for a while..so I'm not sure whats going on with it...
