Brendan, you can't fly at night! Isn't that right Gaston, you worked on this in the evenings. Now Gaston can stay cool between practice flights, good thinking Gaston. Nice awning, it looks good.

Why tomorrow? Is it possibly because it's raining today and you're worried about your new tarp leaking? You're not made of sugar. Go set it up and take some pictures for us.

Here are some pics taken an hour ago at my field with Maggie, as you can see.
Note the bright color ropes I'm using now for safety. If I'm lucky, Brendan is color blind...just kidding Brendan.
The track screwed to the trailer is called very appropriately, an awning track and it's less than $2.00/ft , I pinched one end of the track to prevent the canvas from going past, at one end only. I had to cut off 1/4 inch off the track lengthwise to give me more room above the door latch. I use broom holders to secure the tent poles, note the poles are already extended, the reason being that I had to drill a 1/4 hole in the pole to screw the adjuster through it for better holding capability.

Re: Trailer Awning

Hey Gaston, your photos reminded me of a question I hope you can help with. Please measure the height from the top of the rudder on your Carden Pro to the floor. I want to make a shelf in my trailer and leave enough space underneath for a plane like that to fit.
