Possible Jet only Club in Southern Ontario

Remove this ad - become a site supporter!
Hello.

O was approached to see if there is any interest in forming a jet only club at the Leamington Airport. (between Chatham and Windsor)

This club would be dedicated to jets only. This would include turbines, ducted fan, electric.

If there are any interested parties please let me know on this forumn.

Thanks

Peter

A bit far to make it there regularly of course, but anything I could to do to help, I will.

I would definitely Join as a member. As Eicas stated, it is also quite a drive for me, but I would still come out at least once/ twice a month.
Thanks

I was wondering if anyone will bring up prop jets. What do you guys think?

I'm OK with it. Propjets are a stepping stone to turbines

Prop based jets are not a major issue, and I think the number of prop jets will probably be small.
Many people probably started into the jet world with a prop jet as opposed to a ducted fan.

I have the Great Planes F14 that I have not flown for a while. In fact I have been thinking about using small turbine modification on it mounted between the two fins.

Wow!!! Peter. GREAT idea. Count Steve & I in on this. We love pavement, especially after a weekend of contending with sticky grass!
I hope you get lots more response to this. Anyone with a turbine or DF, here's your chance for a great field. rcjetguy

Gentlemen,

Thanks for the replies. I need at least eight pilots to start a club. Anyone else?
