Rick did not say that. The rule is , for Basic only, the top 3 in the NC region have to move up. It looks to me that you were 6th.

Again, as with Bill, that is not what I said. In your case. because of lack of membership, the rule does not apply regardless. No points were allocated towards the championship.

I am wondering if there is some confusion between the Ontario and the NC points race? I am not aware if there have been any rules installed for the Ontario points race other than the points awarded per standing at a contest.

I would hope that at a minimum it is expected that in order to qualify for Ontario you have to be an IMAC member.

Further to this none of us 3 really have to move up. However if we do not we are not eligible for the Points Championship Race as long as we remain in Basic.

I was planning to move up anyways. Hey who needs to relax on Saturday night any how? Well I will finally get to use my stick plane now!

You know what guys? It's good that you are moving up, it will only give you more of a challenge and make you a better pilot in the long run. It's going to be interesting next year.
