Proline 23mm hexes
Does anyone know if it's possible to use a set of these on a SUT truggy (based on the GS Storm 1/8 scale buggy)? http://prolineracing.com/proline.html
Thanks for any help

Check out www.teamhelotes.com they have 23mm hexes as part of their XB8 truggy conversion.....they likely will sell them individually as well...
contact korgae@canwestrc.net and he should be able to get ahold of them for you to order through your LHS....I know he has the XB8 truggy kits and 2500mAh Rx packs in stock, so i'd think he should be able to get the other team Helotes parts too... |

1/8 buggies & truggies pretty much all use the same basic axle design...I'm not sure how the spacing between the pin and the bearing would be on the SUT though...you may need to shim if it's too sloppy or remove a small amount of material from the inner bearing seat face if it's too tight...

Ya this one seems a bit different, I can't quite figure out how to get the hex off, but I'll probibly get it if i take a few things apart, then I'll probibly know if it works or not
Thanks

Unthread the threaded part from the hex (It's still the same 1/8 buggy style axle, it just uses a LONG setscrew instead of a short one)
Check out this page for instructions and manuals http://www.gsracing.com/web/page.asp?pgs=downloads |
