I saw Skip Stewart a couple of years ago in Cozumel. He goes into a knife edge almost instantly after taking off & then performs many more during his routine. There are lots of YouTube videos of him doing his routine around the world. In Mexico (for now) spectators get to stand rather close to the runway, roughly about the same distance between the pilot stations & flying area at many of the fun fly's I attend. These are from Air Show Cozumel.





From what I've read the spectators are now moved back roughly 10 meters from where I took my photos but I think as the day goes by they move in closer.
