Superbrain = Bad Karma for LiPo's

I don't know, but one thing that I will add is that one major LiPo battery distributor has come out against MRC chargers.

They will not warranty any batteries charged and damaged on a Superbrain charger. Apparently they can tell by looking at the "remains".

The 977 is the updated version of the 969. It has newer software in it. You can charge batteries at up to 5amps on both channels, discharge from .1 - 3.0 amps in .1 amp steps on Chan. A. Also it comes with a stronger 10A power supply where the 969 came with a 7 or 8 amp one I think.

As far as LiPo's go I've never used them so I cannot comment... all I know is MRC has awesome service. I sent in my 969 to get the software updated (for free even!) and checked out for charging gel cells and they didn't charge me for return shipping, UPS lost the package (BIG surprize) so MRC sent me a brand new 977 to replace it!
