LOL!! Yep, lots of bent razor blades!!!

Just a little variation on the standard square scheme. I did this on Jim Daly's Baby Yak and when we flew it on the maiden, I really liked how the angles on the squares made it look in flight - gives a bit of a racing theme in the air!!

It's so nice out tonight, that I just finished a couple beers with the neighbour and now it's down to the workshop!!! - hopefully the "sauce" doesn't cause issues on the top of the wings!

It's all good Jack! The top of the left wing turned out good tonight. I'll put on a few finishing touches tomorrow night and then snap some pics!

I can't wait until that carepackage arrives next week - DA170, cans, 7955 servos all around, A123s, electronics, pilot - if I can make some good progress Sat and Sun night, I should be ready for the carepackage when it arrives!!

Well, I'm about 1.5 hours away from completing the covering on the wings. I'll post pictures Sunday night of the finished product!!

I had a little snag on the wings that set me back a bit - the hinges on the ailerons were out of alignment and it was causing a bit of binding

So, I removed the old hinges and installed nice, new Dubro giant scale hinges with the 0.047" piano wire as I've been recently doing on the Carden builds - everything is now perfectly aligned and bind free.

It cost 2 packs of hinges and some piano wire, but all is smooth!! (hope you don't mind me doing that Jack without checking with you first!!).

I think it's it's a decoy move on Trev's part Jack....I'd be leary the covering job was a mess

Actually, I did slack off today! It was 29 degrees and humid today (felt like 35 degrees)and my son wanted to go out flying so I loaded up the Slick / Mintor220 and we went out and carved up some blue sky!!

Hopefully tonight I'll be able to post some pictures of the finished wings!
