I've had my fun with the big guns, and I'm only referring to 40% or bigger.
Sold mine after 22 years of flying them.
I haven't seen any here for sale in the last year or two.
It's a expensive game if you have bad luck or dumb thumbs.
For that reason I'm guessing you don't see much action here on 40% aircraft.

Re: 40% Aircraft are disappearing

Hank,
I’m slowly working on my first 40% JTEC edge 540. Picks the airframe up at a to good a price to turn down just needed it alittle sweat equity. The rest gets expensive fast. Servos, motor, etc. Only one I’m doing this size(I promise ) so I’m doing spare slightly no expense for my budget. But you need not only the airfield but the means to take it there as well. Again gets expensive quickly. That being said I have just as much fun flying my 35cc planes and 38” skywing electric.

Re: 40% Aircraft are disappearing

I find that most people that have a 40%’er usually hang on to them, or if they sell...it is to someone they know (not advertised). Trying to sell anything on here for over 2k usually takes a very long time. I know what ive got in my big 40% laser and it is alot, not alot of people have the means to afford or transport one.

Re: 40% Aircraft are disappearing

I've had five of them at one time, a lot of money to be sitting around.
I'm 64 now decided to continue with a 100 cc size.
