interesting didn't know the stock esc would hand two engines and god know where they put the batteries.

i thought of it before getting the mamba... after i saw how crazy the mamba is i don't think two would be a good idea unless you wanna break land speed records or something...

but with a brushed motor, its definately worth a try... looks really simple and easy to do... and should yeild great results...

ya i was surprised as well.... supposedly he put the batteries on the top plate?

That would not effect your top speed, just the acceleration and torque. From what I have seen on the RC18, they don't really need either. Also, as Warlock stated, where would the batteries go? I read a little of the other thread and he is going to put the batteries on the top deck, thus increase the CG level.

Don't get me wrong, it is an interesting setup, but it does not gain very much.

has been clocked at over 60 with a 3 cell lipo... with any luck i can verify this in a couple of weeks when the weather gets nice and we have the drag races...
