This is the V2 engine and it came with the control arms the way you described. I just took the throttle arm off and rotated it 180. I then took a servo arm and flipped it upside down so that the teeth in it faced up. With the flat side down, I drilled out the end of the original arm through the servo arm and then bolted them together. You can see that in the bigger pictures. Does this make any sense?

Randy, actually there are a number of different decals available for the DL50
This is one of my favourites, made by the Graphics folks who advertize here on RCC. I think this is the link listed in an above post: http://www.rcaerographics.com/

The third needle is the low speed limit for the throttle arm . You can see the bottom of the throttle arm just above and to the right of that needle.

I can't remember if the DA50 has the throttle limiter or not. I know all Zenoah engines have them. I usually take the screw right out and also remove the return spring so that the throttle moves freely and doesn't create any resistance on the throttle servo. I have programmed throttle failsafe shutoff into the throttle servo, plus have a radio activated cutoff switch plus a manual cutoff switch so I don't need the spring to help pull the throttle to closed in an emergency! If the auto shutoff fails and the failsafe doesn't work when its suppose to, I'd say Murphy is going to win anyways.

That needle on mine doesn't do anything either- I just didn't take it out. I clipped the throttle spring end off so it is now just a spacer on the arm to hold everything in place.

Yes, your doing a great job on the installation. That should be an awsome combo. Please post a pic of the complete plane when your finished. Perhaps even one of it flying! All the best!
